With my internship less than one month away, preparations for my 3-month adventure are in full swing! I just sent away for my 90-day F visa from the US-China Chamber of Commerce in Chicago. If all goes well, they won't lose my passport and I'll have it back safely by Monday.Apparently, I can't buy a plane ticket until I have a valid visa...soooo my actual date of departure is still up in the air. (..no pun intended...) But I am leaving sometime between 2/15 & 2/20.
My dad & I just got our H1N1 vaccines yesterday. We all know how much I love shots...but I couldn't even feel this one! Great success! In addition, my physician gave me -- the girl who is always sick -- a lovely selection of antibiotics. She either knows me very well, or has seen me as a patient wayyy too many times. We don't hang out too much, so I'm going with the latter.
Gonna go surf now.
